How We Form

Formation Is Intentional

Formation is the intentional process of becoming who God designed you to be.

It is not a single moment of inspiration. It is the deliberate process of allowing Kingdom truth to reshape identity, beliefs, choices, habits and stewardship until truth becomes a way of life.

  1. 01Truth understood
  2. 02Truth practised
  3. 03Truth lived and multiplied

The Formation Difference

More Than a Moment of Inspiration

Inspiration can awaken desire, but formation requires truth, time, practice, community and faithful response.

At Her Voice, the goal is not simply for a woman to receive information or feel encouraged. Formation reaches into how she understands herself, makes choices, builds relationships, responds to change, carries responsibility and stewards her influence.

What is learned must become what is lived.

Our Method

The Her Voice 3T Formation Method

Across every Her Voice Formation Experience, women move through three connected stages: Teaching, Training and Transferring.

The environment and content may change according to age and season, but the formation method remains consistent.

  1. 01

    Teaching

    Truth understood.

Teaching makes Kingdom truth clear. It helps a woman understand God’s design and recognise the beliefs, experiences, voices and systems that have shaped her.

She learns to examine what she has received and distinguish between formation by culture, pain, achievement and social expectation—and formation according to God’s truth.

  2. 02

    Training

    Truth practised.

Training moves truth from understanding into deliberate practice.

Women are given room to reflect, apply, rehearse and develop new ways of thinking, responding, relating, building and stewarding. Guidance, practical tools and community help truth become established in everyday behaviour.

  3. 03

    Transferring

    Truth lived and multiplied.

Transferring moves formation beyond the learning environment and beyond the individual.

A woman carries what she has received into her relationships, home, work, community and generation. Truth becomes visible through how she lives, leads, builds and stewards her influence.

Teaching gives understanding. Training develops practice. Transferring produces lived and multiplied truth.

A Formation Principle

The Butterfly Principle

The butterfly illustrates transformation. The GROW® Reinvention Framework helps a woman navigate it intentionally.

The connected developmental stages of a caterpillar, chrysalis and butterfly

From its earliest identity, Her Voice has used the butterfly to represent the different stages and seasons through which a woman’s life develops.

The butterfly is not an improved caterpillar. It is the outcome of a process of transformation.

Her Voice honours this process: gathering, waiting, learning, shedding, strengthening and eventually being released to live differently.

Formation does not merely improve outward appearance or performance. It changes what a woman understands, believes, practises and becomes.

Its hidden season is not wasted time.

It is where an old form is surrendered, internal change takes place and capacity for a new expression is developed.

A Reinvention Framework

The GROW® Reinvention Framework

Reinvention does not mean discarding your story. It means learning to steward it differently.

The GROW® Reinvention Framework helps a woman navigate transition, disruption & new seasons intentionally. It is one of the practical frameworks delivered through Teaching, Training and Transferring.

Gather what your story has produced. Reimagine it through God’s design. Optimize it for purpose. Work it faithfully.

What We Form

Five Formation Pillars

Formation reaches the foundations from which a woman lives.

Across Her Voice Formation Experiences, five enduring areas are developed: Identity, Calling, Purpose, Femininity and Reinvention.

  1. 01

    Identity

Who am I according to God’s design?

Identity is understanding who you are in God before allowing function, achievement, relationships, pain or circumstances to define you.

A woman who is rooted in identity can engage different seasons and responsibilities without confusing what she does with who she is.

  2. 02

    Calling

What is God asking of me in this season?

Calling is recognising God’s invitation and learning to respond with faith, obedience and responsibility.

It includes both the lifelong direction of a woman’s life and the specific assignments entrusted to her in different seasons.

  3. 03

    Purpose

What has my life been designed to contribute?

Purpose is understanding what your life is designed to contribute and learning to steward that contribution intentionally.

It moves a woman from merely existing or achieving towards building, serving and influencing with meaning.

  4. 04

    Femininity

Why did God create me female?

Femininity is receiving female design as intentional, good and purposeful.

It involves understanding womanhood from the perspective of the Original Designer and learning to express it faithfully—without allowing culture, stereotypes or personal preference to become the final authority.

  5. 05

    Reinvention

How do I respond when life and seasons change?

Reinvention is allowing transition, disruption and new seasons to become places of formation rather than evidence that your story has ended.

It helps a woman gather what her journey has produced, release what no longer serves God’s design and respond faithfully to what the next season requires.

The pillars are not separate identities. Together, they help form a woman who knows who she is, recognises what God is asking, understands what she carries, receives her female design and can move faithfully through change.

Where Restoration Happens

Six Restoration Domains

Formation begins internally, but it should not remain invisible.

Her Voice works towards the restoration of God’s order across six interconnected areas of a woman’s life. These domains help women examine what has shaped them, recognise what is out of alignment and begin living differently.

A Woman in Formation

Identity

Receiving identity from God.

A woman learns to understand herself through God’s design rather than manufacturing an identity from function, achievement, relationships, pain or social expectation.

Biblical Womanhood

Understanding female design.

A woman explores what it means to have been intentionally created female and learns to distinguish God’s design from cultural stereotypes, social pressure and personal preference.

Kingdom Worldview

Learning to see through truth.

A woman examines the beliefs and voices that influence how she interprets life. Kingdom truth begins to shape her thinking, decisions, values and responses.

Relationships

Practising truth with others.

Formation becomes visible through how a woman relates, communicates, establishes boundaries, handles conflict, honours responsibility and participates in community.

Purpose and Calling

Aligning contribution with assignment.

A woman learns to recognise what God has entrusted to her and align her gifts, work, service and decisions with both her enduring purpose and present calling.

Stewardship and Influence

Carrying formation into the world.

A woman develops the wisdom and responsibility to steward her voice, time, resources, work, leadership and influence for God’s glory and the good of others.

Restoration is not complete because a woman can explain truth. It becomes visible when truth begins to govern how she lives.

From Method to Experience

Formation Is Lived

Her Voice Formation Experiences bring these principles, frameworks and areas of restoration into structured environments designed for different ages, life stages and seasons.

Women and girls do not simply attend an event or receive information. They encounter truth, examine what has shaped them, reflect, practise new responses, develop practical wisdom and continue their formation within community.

Each Formation Experience has a distinct focus, but the method remains consistent: truth is taught, practised and transferred into everyday life.

Formation becomes visible beyond the learning environment—in a woman’s decisions, relationships, work, leadership, building and stewardship of influence.

Formation is not only what happens in the room. It is what a woman carries from the room into her life.
